How to Get a Career - Elevating Education for Under $20

So you’re interested in moving up in your career, but you’ve been told you need to go back to school to do so.

You’ve got to get an advanced degree that will take 2-4 years and cost more than $100,000 in total.

In some cases, that may be true... but many career goals can be reached with far less cost and effort.

All you need is two words: Online Learning.

And I’m not referring to online courses from institutions like the University of Phoenix.

I’m talking about peer to peer online learning resources like Udemy and Linkedin Learning.

On these platforms, you can gain in-depth knowledge on a wide variety of subjects from experts in the field. These video courses — which often come with practice tests and study guides — usually cost under $20.

Many of these programs are also specifically designed to help you pass certification exams related to your career aspirations.

For example, I took a $10 Udemy course on project management created by Joseph Phillips that was specifically designed to help me pass the PMP exam.

I could have paid thousands of dollars for live classroom training, but this course was more than enough for me to learn what I needed... and a few months later I passed the exam with flying colors.

Whether you’re a project manager, database engineer, software developer, real estate agent or financial advisor, there are certifications that you can study for in your spare time will help you elevate your career... and these online resources are a straight shot to success.

So find out which certifications are relevant to achieving your career goals, look for online courses related to the certifications, and start learning! Your next promotion could be just a click away.
